This section presents the rationale for the Pandemic Influenza Workforce Resilience Toolkit. The goals for the Toolkit and its target audiences are provided.

Model Program
for Workforce Resilience

This section of the Toolkit provides information regarding the essential components of a model workforce resilience program. Resilience is fostered and enhanced through a comprehensive program focused on worker health and safety and the provision of psychosocial supports for employees.

This section describes the critical elements that should be included in an organization’s resilience program and identifies where specific resources for each component can be found in the Workforce Resilience Resources section.

Workforce Resilience Resources

Workforce resilience is promoted through coordinated activities that focus on pandemic planning, building psychosocial supports, and staff training and education.

This section of the Toolkit provides a range of resource materials that support the development of a workforce resilience program. It includes information related to Planning and Preparedness, Organizational Resilience, Staff Training, and Educational Materials.
